The Hours and Service: KU Macquarie Fields Preschool is a 40-place center open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, serving children aged 3 to 6 in Southwest Sydney. With over 40 years in the community, it focuses on research, inclusion, and connection. The preschool is fully booked and supports a diverse group, including many children with additional needs, culturally and linguistically diverse families, and an increasing number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. Many enrolled families face vulnerability and disadvantage. This opportunity will see you join the team 9 days a fortnight every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and alternate Wednesday Of course, you will need: Australian working rights A current NSW Working with Children Check An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree Completed training in Child Protection legislation Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates NESA Teacher Accreditation Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF) How to apply: To apply, please submit your Updated Resume and a Cover Letter by clicking the “Apply Now” button.
